It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we share this news with our community:
The Master Locksmith will be closing its doors.

For nearly 30 years, this shop has been more than a place of business. It has been a place of trust, craftsmanship, and care, serving generations of families and businesses in our community. That legacy has always been built by one man’s dedication and heart.

Many of you know that Greg has been facing serious medical challenges since early October and has been hospitalized continuously since October 31st. He remains under medical care with no confirmed timeline for release or recovery. While Greg’s heart has never left this business, his health must come first.

Because Greg is The Master Locksmith, his absence has made it impossible to keep the business financially afloat. As time has passed, both business and personal bills have continued to accumulate, and despite every effort to hold on, we have reached a point where closing is the only responsible path forward.

This decision has not come easily.

The shop will remain open to the public through January 9, and we will continue serving the community to the very best of our ability until then. We are required to vacate the building by January 15, with moving days scheduled between January 11–15.

In the days ahead, we will begin offering select inventory at discounted prices, and we will share details as items become available. All display cases are for sale but cannot be picked up until the January 11–15 moving window.

Please note:

  • The personal lock collection that serves as our in-store museum will not be sold.

  • Shop machines and tools are not available for sale at this time.

  • As of January 1, 2026, we will no longer be able to accept special orders due to time constraints.

  • All sales will be final.

This chapter is closing, but the memories, relationships, and trust built over the years will always remain.

If you feel led, please keep Greg and our family in your prayers, or share a kind word, a note, or this message. Your encouragement means more than we can express.

To our customers, neighbors, and friends, thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your homes, your businesses, and your security for nearly three decades. Thank you for allowing The Master Locksmith to be part of your lives.

With gratitude and heavy hearts,
The Master Locksmith Family
